What kind of work is this trimmer best for?

This is a finishing trimmer for line-ups, detailing, neck clean-ups and outlining. The 40 mm X-Pro wide blade gives you enough surface area to set clean lines while still keeping good control around tighter areas.

How does the motor perform?

You are working with a Super Torque rotary motor running at 8,000 SPM. It gives a steady, controlled cut that suits barbers who want torque and consistency rather than a harsh, overly aggressive feel.

Can it be zero gapped?

Yes, it adjusts from 0.8 mm down to 0.0 mm. Use the zero-gap blade setter and mini screwdriver so the blade sits even, because a close trimmer needs clean alignment before it goes near skin.

What blade setup does it use?

Out of the box, it runs a Black Diamond Carbon DLC X-Pro wide T-blade with The One deep slim tooth cutter. That combination gives you strong bite for outlines, beard detail and neck clean-ups while keeping the cutting feel smooth.

Does it use guards or taper brackets?

No, guards and taper brackets do not apply to this tool type because it is a close-cutting trimmer. It is made for line work and detailing, not guarded length control or clipper-style lever blending.

Is it corded or cordless?

This is a cordless trimmer, so cord length does not apply to this tool type. USB-C charging and the charging stand make it easy to keep powered without having a lead in the way while cutting.

How long does the battery last?

Runtime is up to 120 minutes from the lithium-ion battery. Charge time is also 120 minutes, so it is best kept on the charging stand between services if you use it heavily through the day.

What comes in the box?

How should I maintain it?

Brush the blade clean after each client, disinfect it regularly and oil the blade so the cutter keeps moving freely. Check the blade position after any adjustment, because a zero-gapped trimmer needs to stay square from corner to corner.

How does shipping work?

We ship Australia wide and to New Zealand.

We offer various delivery options in Australia for standard items which you can select when you checkout to complete your order. For bulky items such as furniture a fixed freight charge may apply. For bulky items the product will display any fixed price shipping charge and this will be added automatically to your order if applicable.

For orders over $350 there is a free freight option which can be selected when checking out. You can also choose express options for faster delivery. Note all prices include GST.

** We offer same day dispatch for orders received before 1:00pm on a normal business day only when Express Priority freight option is selected.** If Regular Delivery option is selected your order normally will be dispatched within 24-48 hours after placing your order.

We endeavor to carry all standard advertised items in stock, however if there are stock shortfalls preventing immediate dispatch of your order, we will contact you if there will be any extended delays to advise and offer options.

Australia

Our default couriers are TNT Express/Fedex and Australia Post. Once your order is consigned you should receive tracking details via email throughout the journey of your order to its destination. If you do not receive any notifications within a reasonable time of placing your order please email us at info@barberco.com.au quoting your order number to request a personal update.

New Zealand

We ship to all areas in New Zealand. Freight is calculated at checkout and will depend on items purchased.

DHL Express is our chosen freight company. Typically freight times are between 2 – 7 business days depending on your location.

Note we cannot ship dangerous goods such as aerosols and some liquids to New Zealand. It is not cost effective to freight furniture to New Zealand, however we can provide sea freight options on application.

How soon will my order dispatch?

If you order and pay for your order before 1 pm (EST) on a business day and select Express Priority we will dispatch on the same business day, if we are unable to dispatch we will try and let you know ASAP by email. If you require your order by a certain day it is very helpful to us if you put this as a customer note when checking out.

Will I receive notification of my order and receive updates on delivery status?

Once your order is compete you will receive an instant confirmation of your order via email. Please check carefully and advise us of any issues.

You will receive notification once your order is packed and ready for dispatch. From there you should receive several notifications along the journey of your order with the final one being that the order has been delivered. Please advise us immediately if any issues or concerns or you haven’t received any notifications at all since you placed your order. Please also check spam or junk mail if no communications have been received.

Do I get a discount for ordering in bulk?

Yes! Many of our popular items have bulk discount. When you open up the page if the product has bulk pricing available it will show this and you can click on this to see what deals are available

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay via Visa or Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, AfterPay or direct deposit. If you select direct deposit you will be emailed an invoice with our bank details on the bottom. If you would like to pay by cash (if picking your parcel up) please select direct deposit as your payment method when checking out.

What is the minimum order quantity?

We don’t have one! If you only want to get a few items just to try us out then you can do that, no problem at all.
