What work is this trimmer best used for?

This is a finishing trimmer for lineups, edge-ups, beard detailing and neck cleanups. It is not the tool you grab for bulk removal, but it gives you the blade visibility and closeness you want when the shape needs to be sharp.

How strong is the motor?

You get a rotary motor running at 8,200 RPM, which gives the blade plenty of speed for clean outlining. Smart-Clip technology adjusts power as resistance changes, so it keeps cutting consistently instead of slowing down through denser patches.

What makes the exposed T-blade useful?

A 360 degree exposed EZ-GAP T-blade gives you better sightlines around hairlines, beards and tight detail areas. When you are working close to the skin, that extra visibility helps you place the blade more accurately instead of guessing under the casing.

Can it be zero-gapped?

Yes, the EZ-GAP system allows tool-free zero-gap adjustment. Even with a tool-free setup, check the blade alignment before using it on skin because a trimmer set too close can still irritate or nick.

Is there an adjustable cutting range?

Cutting length does not apply in the same way it would on a clipper because this trimmer is made for fixed close detailing work. It is listed as approximately 0 mm when zero-gapped, so think of it as a sharp finishing tool rather than a length-control tool.

Does it come with guards?

Guards do not apply to this trimmer because it is made for close outlining and detailing, not guarded length work. Use your clipper for building length and this trimmer for cleaning the final edges.

How long does the battery last?

You get up to 120 minutes of cordless runtime from the lithium-ion battery. Full charge time is around 2 hours, so it suits a working station where the trimmer goes back on charge between detailing work.

Is it cordless or corded?

This model is listed as cordless and charges by cable, with a dock available separately. Cord length does not apply because it is not listed as a corded tool.

What comes in the box?

The box includes the trimmer, charging cable, blade protector, cleaning brush, lubricating oil and screwdriver. That gives you what you need for day-one use, blade care and basic adjustment.

How should I maintain it?

Brush hair out of the T-blade after each use and oil it regularly so the blade keeps moving cleanly. The low-noise, low-vibration feel is best preserved when the blade is clean, lubricated and not packed with fine hair.

What replacement blade does it take?

The compatible replacement blade is the JRL EZ-GAP T-Blade. For Australian barbers, sourcing replacements keeps the setup straightforward when the blade eventually needs changing.

Same-day dispatch is available when you place your order before 1:00pm on a business day and select Express Priority shipping. Regular Delivery orders are typically dispatched within 24–48 hours.

How does shipping work?

We ship Australia wide and to New Zealand.

We offer various delivery options in Australia for standard items which you can select when you checkout to complete your order. For bulky items such as furniture a fixed freight charge may apply. For bulky items the product will display any fixed price shipping charge and this will be added automatically to your order if applicable.

For orders over $350 there is a free freight option which can be selected when checking out. You can also choose express options for faster delivery. Note all prices include GST.

** We offer same day dispatch for orders received before 1:00pm on a normal business day only when Express Priority freight option is selected.** If Regular Delivery option is selected your order normally will be dispatched within 24-48 hours after placing your order.

We endeavor to carry all standard advertised items in stock, however if there are stock shortfalls preventing immediate dispatch of your order, we will contact you if there will be any extended delays to advise and offer options.

Australia

Our default couriers are TNT Express/Fedex and Australia Post. Once your order is consigned you should receive tracking details via email throughout the journey of your order to its destination. If you do not receive any notifications within a reasonable time of placing your order please email us at info@barberco.com.au quoting your order number to request a personal update.

We reserve the right to recalculate and request extra charges if freight does not calculate within reasonable estimates for bulky items or dangerous goods especially to remote locations.

New Zealand

We ship to all areas in New Zealand. Freight is calculated at checkout and will depend on items purchased.

DHL Express is our chosen freight company. Typically freight times are between 2 – 7 business days depending on your location.

Note we cannot ship dangerous goods such as aerosols and some liquids to New Zealand. It is not cost effective to freight furniture to New Zealand, however we can provide sea freight options on application.

How soon will my order dispatch?

If you order and pay for your order before 1 pm (EST) on a business day and select Express Priority we will dispatch on the same business day, if we are unable to dispatch we will try and let you know ASAP by email. If you require your order by a certain day it is very helpful to us if you put this as a customer note when checking out.

Will I receive notification of my order and receive updates on delivery status?

Once your order is compete you will receive an instant confirmation of your order via email. Please check carefully and advise us of any issues.

You will receive notification once your order is packed and ready for dispatch. From there you should receive several notifications along the journey of your order with the final one being that the order has been delivered. Please advise us immediately if any issues or concerns or you haven’t received any notifications at all since you placed your order. Please also check spam or junk mail if no communications have been received.

Do you offer wholesale pricing?

Do I get a discount for ordering in bulk?

Yes! Many of our popular items have bulk discount. When you open up the page if the product has bulk pricing available it will show this and you can click on this to see what deals are available

How can I pay for my order?

You can pay via Visa or Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, AfterPay or direct deposit. If you select direct deposit you will be emailed an invoice with our bank details on the bottom. If you would like to pay by cash (if picking your parcel up) please select direct deposit as your payment method when checking out.

What is the minimum order quantity?

We don’t have one! If you only want to get a few items just to try us out then you can do that, no problem at all.

I am having trouble registering/checking out.

The most likely explanation is that your username is not unique. We recommend using your email address as this way you can guarantee you will be the only person who selects it, plus it is easier to remember! Otherwise occasionally there is a glitch if there is a browser issue with your computer.
